GY27 - 8.20m Superyacht

This is the design for an Owner Tender with plumb bow and deep “V”-shaped hull. It’s a bigger version of the previously designed 7.5m open tender.

The boat design aims to give something a little bit sporty and aggressive, wile still delivering a classy and timelessly elegant looking boat.

The long waterline would provide smooth ride by reducing the pitch movement. Thanks to the wider chine in the bow sections and the spray rails the passengers can enjoy a dry trip.

This is a stylish and speedy transportation vessel between the mothership and the shore, which could also be used as a fun boat.

The Tender, including its cockpit floor height, down flooding height and angles, cockpit drainage and stability requirements, is designed to comply with European RCD requirements as appropriate and classified for CE approval category B.

The tender will be build using E-glass and carbon fibre in a sandwich and resin infusion technique.

Fitted with one Yanmar 8LV-370Z (370 mhp @ 3800 rpm) diesel engine and Z370 Steerable Z-drive with dual prop the tender can achieve a maximum speed of 42 knots and cruising speed of 36 knots. With 300 liter fuel tank, the range is around 250 miles.

The stowed height is only 1.75m, which is designed to will help fit the tender in the usually limited spaces of the most motherships.
